Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get a refill of my supplements?

Getting Your Supplements from Ariya Health

Ariya Health is a practitioner-only prescription service located in Townsville. Ariya Health only dispenses practitioner-grade supplements that require a script from your practitioner.

Location: 62 Ingham Road (Service Road), West End, Townsville
Phone: (07) 1300 768 963 — Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm

How it works:

  • Your naturopath sends your prescription — an electronic prescription is prepared and sent directly to both you and Ariya Health via email
  • You receive your prescription by email — check your inbox (and spam/junk folder)
  • Open the email and click the link — this takes you directly to the Ariya Health website where your prescription items are already loaded
  • Select your items and complete your order online
  • Collect in store during business hours, or have your order delivered
  • Using your repeats — your naturopath may include repeats on your prescription so you can restock when needed without waiting for a new script

Why practitioner-grade supplements? These aren't standard off-the-shelf products. Practitioner-grade supplements are manufactured to pharmaceutical standards with therapeutic dosages, higher quality ingredients, and better absorption. They contain fewer fillers and additives, are tested for purity and potency, and are specifically chosen by your naturopath to match your individual health needs.

Expiring scripts and repeats: Your practitioner will likely give you a couple of repeats. If you require additional repeats or your script has expired, please email envisionhealthoz@gmail.com

I would like to offer some feedback

Your feedback is important to us. Without client feedback we have no way of knowing how we're doing. Please send an email or have a chat to one of the staff regarding any concerns so these can be addressed and dealt with immediately.

To write a testimonial, please feel free to email us and post to our Facebook page.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

In the event of a cancellation or no-show, or if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, your payment will be forfeited and a refund will not be provided. If you need to reschedule, your payment can be transferred to a new appointment provided it is rebooked within 4 weeks of your original date and has not been rescheduled previously — only one reschedule is permitted. As you can appreciate, missed appointments take time away from other clients.

Do I need to prepare for my consultation?

No preparation is necessary, however the following information would be beneficial:

  • A three to seven day food diary (download from our Forms page)
  • Any recent blood test results
  • A list of any medications, dose and reasons for its use
  • A list of supplements taken — brand, dose and reasons why taking

Is the clinic child-friendly?

There is a small play area in the waiting room with some toys. There is a television for some of the older kids, and in the consultation room there are some great toys and colouring in to keep the kids entertained for the duration of the consultation.

Can I claim on private health insurance?

Yes, depending on your level of cover. Health provider claims are done at the time of your consultation with our HICAPS facilities. Those that are not claimable on HICAPS can make a paper claim. Please see the Participating Health Funds document on our Forms page for all health providers offering on-the-spot private health claims for naturopaths.

How long are the appointments?

  • Initial Consultation (60–90 minutes): A detailed case history is taken, physical examination and investigative procedures done to help determine the drivers of ill health. These may include iridology, live blood analysis, kinesiology, diet and lifestyle assessment, hair tissue mineral analysis, functional pathology referral, and zinc tally testing.
  • Treatment Plan Consultation (up to 45 minutes): All the information gathered from your initial consultation is presented. Together we work out a treatment plan and start you on your health journey. A personalised health folder is presented to you at this time. (Not all patients will require this type of consultation — this will be discussed during your initial consultation.)
  • Follow-up Consultation (up to 40 minutes): We reassess any changes made and any changes still required.

What should I expect at my first consultation?

Your first appointment is 60–90 minutes. Your practitioner will take a detailed medical history covering your family health background, existing pathology results, current dietary habits, lifestyle factors, and any medications or supplements you're taking. Please bring all relevant medical reports and recent pathology test results with you. You'll leave with a personalised treatment plan and clear next steps.

Are functional pathology tests covered by Medicare?

Functional pathology testing is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance in most cases. Your naturopath will confirm the exact cost of any test before it is ordered. Prices listed on our site are approximate and subject to change.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies depending on your health concerns and goals. Many patients see significant improvement within 3–6 sessions. Your naturopath will discuss a tailored treatment plan at your first visit, including expected timeframes. Follow-ups are typically fortnightly, monthly, or every six weeks.

Do you see children at the clinic?

Yes! Leigh-Anne has a special focus on children's health and is a certified GAPS practitioner. We see children for a wide range of concerns including digestive issues, behavioural challenges, ADHD, allergies, and immune support.

Can I see you via telehealth?

Yes! Envision Health is now an online clinic. We offer telehealth consultations to clients anywhere in Australia. We also offer community-based appointments for Townsville residents — we come to you, by prior arrangement and appointment only.

What conditions do you treat?

We see a wide range of conditions including digestive disorders, food intolerances, thyroid imbalance, hormonal issues, children's health and behavioural concerns, ADHD, stress and anxiety, menopause, men's health, chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, weight management, autoimmune conditions, and environmental toxicity. See our Conditions We Treat page for a full list.
